Medical Background: After finishing his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, Dr. Dabbah returned to his home state of Illinois for graduate school. Dr. Dabbah graduated at the top of his class from Chicago Medical School, earning a master’s degree in biomedical science and a doctor of medicine degree. He then served his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Dabbah is well-known for his caring bedside manner. His passion for patient care was genuinely established when he volunteered to work overseas with Operation Smile. Dr. Dabbah continues to work with Doctors Without Borders as often as possible.

Medical Background: A former native of Los Angeles, Dr. Derian received his M.D. degree from UCLA School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at UCSF and the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial hospital followed by a Pain Medicine Fellowship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Derian has numerous scientific publications and presentations. He also has special interests in sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and minimally invasive procedures.

What do you enjoy most about your job position at Saguaro? As a personal injury care coordinator & biller, I am able to see the improvement on paper, as well as in person, as we track our patient’s progress. It amazes me to see the clear contrast from the beginning of care where patients report debilitating pain to later resuming the activities that they originally stopped doing because of pain. I know how they feel on a personal level because I started as a patient here as well! My quality of life is so much better because of the procedures and care that I have received here. I love that I can confidently refer friends and family knowing that relief from pain will come.
