Epidural Injections Education:

Interlaminar or transforaminal epidural steroid injections are performed to treat radicular pains in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal regions. These pains include radiating pain down the arms or legs caused by an injury or irritation in the spinal nerve roots. An anti-inflammatory and anesthetic medication is injected while using x-ray imaging guidance for a safe and effective approach.
