Welcome to Saguaro Pain Clinic. I'm Dr. Dabbah. By now you've already tried working with a physical therapist or a chiropractor doing conservative therapy but your pains are still lingering around. Here at Saguaro, we specialize in interventional pain management, in order to help you avoid surgery. These videos are meant to take you from the beginning to the end of our entire process. 

With that being said, let's get started! When a patient comes into Saguaro, a medical assistant is gonna take you to one of our exam rooms in the back. They're going to ask you some questions pertinent to the injury, whether it be the neck pain, low back pain, or any of the joints. Once those questions are asked, we'll then do a physical exam. In the physical exam, we're gonna test range of motion, we're gonna test strength, and we're also gonna test sensory. When we combine that all together we will be able to make a definitive diagnosis. If we don't have a diagnosis at that point, we might order further imaging. Once we review the imaging we will be able to make a diagnosis at that point which will lead us into the procedures that Dr. Darian will be able to do.

Welcome to the procedure suite, where the injection happens. Here you will get onto the table. We will adjust the table to the appropriate height. You will also be greeted by other employees, including a radiation technologist and an anesthesiologist. We have a fluoroscopy machine here to make sure the injection is done safely. It helps take x-rays of your spine as we move closer with the needle so that it's very precise. The anesthesiologist may give you some medications to keep you comfortable during procedure. Once we have the appropriate placement, we will prep and drape the area so you may feel some cold and wet cleaning solution on your back before the injection. 

After the injection you'll get bandaged and then we will lead you to the recovery room where a nurse will reach you with snacks and water. They will also take your vital signs and ensure that you are safe to go home. The total We hope these videos help you understand the process here at Saguaro.
